Welcome to Fir
Fir is a supportive, family group of students. The aim of the class at all times is being consistent. Barriers to learning are addressed which can arise from social / emotional and or behavioral difficulties, in an inclusive, supportive manner. We work towards our students being able to form secure and happy relationships with others. When our students are secure and happy in their environment they flourish not only socially and emotionally but also in their school work. We aim to:
- Develop literacy, numeracy and ICT skills
- Develop our knowledge about the world around us
- Provide speech and language support
- Teach life skills
Although most of all we want to have fun!
