Geography
Geography is an established subject that ensures all students develop enquiring skills about places and the environment. During KS3 students cover a variety of modules, ranging from observations of local maps & landscapes to investigating activities of tectonic plates and volcanic eruptions around the world. Students carry out enquiries inside and outside the classroom making the learning dynamic, engaging and responsive to the learner. ICT and literacy resources are used to deliver a broadening horizon of knowledge and understanding, consideration is given to the type of information presented and students are encouraged to develop an independent level of learning through array of teaching styles.
