Students at Garston Manor School have careers lessons from Year 9 though elements of it are taught within PSHCE in earlier years. The aims of the careers lessons are as follows;

    Experience the world of work

The school has very strong links with the Connexions personal advisors who work with the students form Year 9.

All Key stage 4 students have the opportunity to attend college where they follow a range of courses depending on their ability.
